The connection at the transmission is now marked "SKIP SHIFT" like they wanted you to know where it was 
The C5 wasn't marked that way.
I just installed mine a few hours ago and all is right in the world. I now control all 6 gears, not some computer. But I do appreciate the fact it prevents our C6 from being hit with the GAS GUZZLER TAX in the order of about $3K.
