Here you go, its mounted there for right now but we are going to flush it in above the licence plate holder. The license plate needs to come down less than an inch.
Had one in my Avalanche. It was not only a neat thing to have but was quite essential because of the lack of rear view visiability. While it would be neat to have in the vette, I don't really think it will be needed.
Can you post pics of the clarity at night on the monitor? Really appreciate it. I'm seriously thinking about having this done since it is a pretty good thing to have from a safety standpoint.

I will do that, but I cant do it this week since we need to get some orders out this weekend. As soon as I have an opportunity I will post the pictures.

No problem with visibility to the rear in the Corvette. Now seeing where the nose is when parking is another matter. Seems like you could mount the camera in front of the air dam without it being an obvious eyesore. That would be useful.
i beg to differ have 5% tint and at night you can not see **** when backing up. i have been waiting on eclipse to start selling their new one for a coupke of months its smaller then a dice!!!

Sorry, I can't agree with that. Us old guys can't do the 180 degree neck turns like you young guys.
I am VERY interested in ANY back-up warning! Where to buy, costs, etc. please.
ALSO, what about an after market light and beeper warning unit? Like in my Caddy. I really love that and am ready to buy one today if there is such a thing. Please advise.

I have one from American Road Products called Reverse Guard. It works great. I have it in my Malibu Maxx, and will put one in the Vette when it warms up a little. Has a great LED that tell you distance and location of obstacle. Installed it in less than 15 minutes and did not have to cut the car.
You can find it with Google, or PM for the link.
