This is not a flame at all, but how old are you? I guessing up there in age with a term such as "man of color".

I was referring to the age of the original poster.

...man of color is a rather dated phrase.

See,...even other races can appreciate a nice mode of transportation. LOL

QUOTE=jlog323]Comments are always nice and seem to be frequent with these icons. I always respond, by word or toot of horn when necessary.

In my humble (and totally biased) opinion, there are few cars more striking than a well maintained Corvette....... of any year. Even slick European, more expensive cars get attention, but are so far out of reach of the public, that they are merely curiosities.

A Corvette, though, is a reachable dream, the original American sport car, whose unique body lines will always unmistakenly identify it, and keep people admiring, dreaming and wishing.

Daily driver or weekender, all we need to do is keep it looking good......

Nice ride........ drive it in good health

It was kind of sad but last weekend the guy up the street, who used to have a C5, came down and just stood around admiring the C6. Finally, he said "It'll be a long time before I'll be able to get another one of these." They have a couple of small kids and apparently his wife "convinced" him to get an Audi for that reason.
Considering how many Vette owners are "of a certain age", you'd think Chevy would make a "Quattroporte" Corvette to compete with the M-B CLS, the Maserati QP, the BMW M5, etc. Just check out the Aston Martin Rapide and see if that doesn't convince you! IMHO, the prettiest car in the world followed only by the C6.
