Would someone measure..

the height and length of a C6 rear view mirrors lighted "passenger airbag on/off" light for me? I am looking to cover the lit words.. so I need that measurement.. not the whole mirror..

My car is getting serviced.. many thanks!!

If your talking about the inside mirror it is ten and three eigths by three and half inches.

Well, it is not actually a rectangle. It is more like an isosceles trapezoid (only the top corners are rounded). The base is 3 1/2 inches, the top is 3 inches and the height is 5/16 inch.

We need to get some translucent (i.e., tinted) tape to stick over that part of the mirror. I'd like to be able to see the words if i look for them, but they are too bright right now. Someone said that after a while I'd not notice the words any more, but i still do notice. Not as much but enough to be annoying.
