Many of you suggested out-of-state dealers, such as Kerbeck. Great deals, but who pays shipping to California?

Which, if any, is more discounted, verte or coupe? I want a velocity yellow verte 3LT MN6 Z51 with power top. Not easy to find with all those requirements. But I want what I want and won't settle for less.
You may want to look closer at my offer, it's the best out there. I have an extra GM Supplier Discount. I used the GM Supplier Discount to buy my C6 in April and they sent me 2 that I could give to anyone. I gave one to a member on this board and I have 1 left. It has to be used by May 31st which I believe means that you have to order the car by then. The only stipulation is that as a favor to Tommy Jr, you will have to use him to buy the car. Tommy Jr. at MacMulkin Chevy is a sponsor on this site and he's great. Plus he most likely has the best chance other than Kerbeck to have an allocation of what you want. If a dealer does not have an allocation, there is no way you will get your car very quickly. I ordered from MacMulkin and had my car in 5 weeks. I even went out to Bowling Green to watch it get built.

As far as the discount, the more expensive the car, the larger the discount. I bought a 2LT, A6, QX1, Z51 car and it listed for around $49,300 and I paid $44,300 ($5000 off). This discount works out just slightly above dealer invoice. MacMulkin adds ZERO to this price, they don't charge you any doc fees, mailing fees, NOTHING. As a side note, the GM Supplier Discount is the same as the GMID, but it's not as good as GM Employee discount (they get another $2000 off).

You will have to pay the $800 destination wherever you buy it from, but it's already in the prices I listed. If you want the Museum delivery, you pay $490 retail, around $400 with GMS Discount, and you still pay the $800 delivery charge (kind of a rip off). If you fly out to MacMulkin, I wouldn't think they have a dealer prep fee, but you would have to ask Tommy Jr. If you get a courtesy delivery like I did, you have to shop around. I've heard that some dealers will charge more when they find out it's a Vette, however, most know already that it's most likely a high end car. Courtesy Deliveries are at the discretion of the dealer, but most will do it for somewhere between $200 and $800 with most around the $350 to $550 range. I had quotes of $500 and $600 close to my house, but I drove 50 miles to get it for $350.

Here's Tommy Jr's email: c6@macmulkinchevrolet.com

Send him an email, find out the price, then get back to me if you want my last remaining GM Supplier Discount. I am not charging anything for it, it's free.

Thanks,
Glenn

If you are like me and won't settle for less get the GMID and call Rick Daniel at Les Stanford Chevrolet ( look under "buy a vette")

My VY MN6 3LT coupe was just finished on Tuesday. I got it for the GMID price which was just under 6K off MSRP. The car is being delivered to Crest Chevrolet in San Bernadino in a couple of weeks.

Hi, I'm located in Northern Cal. I got in touch with glennhl (hi Glenn) regarding the GMS cert, but turns out that I also got the GMID cert from a forum member.

I have placed the order this Tue with Tommy Jr at MacMulkin. I'm paying $500 more to get the car courtesy delivered to Century Chevrolet in Watsonville, also from reading the forums.

I was debating between 2006 and 2007, but decided that I'd like the car 2 months sooner. So you decide on taht.

Looking forward to delivery around mid June. I'll provide a summary of that when it comes.

Glenn is offering his GMS cert. You can also PM me for the email to the forum member to see if he can help provide another GMID cert.
