Default Just for the record

It seem that all you read about the C6 here is the negative things. For the record I would like to say that my C6 has been great. Not a single problem in over 12,000 miles. Not even a dead battery. Way to go Corvette team!!!!

Ditto. Had a 2000 C5 that was driven relatively hard and never had issues until about 100K (4K in replacement/labor to A/C and balancer). Now the C6 is at 5K plus miles, and no problems yet (still waiting on the roof issue though).

Careful, the "DBS pimps" aren't going to like you saying that.

Who knows ...............they could show up here any minute, because any post with the word "battery" in it draws the DBS pimps in like flies to a manure dump.

We never can have enough positive posts about how awsome these cars are.

My dealer is convinced that some if not many of the DBS issues are being caused by the range of the new fob in conjunction with peoples "attached" garages and hooks, racks and baskets where they toss their keys at night. He saw it happen with another customer who was an alleged DBS victim times three. The dealership owner actually went to his house and walked thru a typical shut down and put the car to bed sequence and it turns out that "as the crow flies" his keys were never more than 8 feet away from the car in the house. The relocated the key basket and voila, no more DBS. Food for thought anyway.

Electronic forums are like the news media today in America, seldom do they report the "good", there's nothing news worthy in that. My 06 delivered 3/22 has been FLAWLESS.

Just sharing the truth about problems is not really negative. My 05 blew it's belts at 300 and 600 miles[crank] and spent 17 of the first 30 days ''inside''. Had it 17 more months and all was good. My 06 so far is even better.

If this was the cause then auto's would have the same problem, which they don't.

I've had my C6 for almost 15 months....only about 9,000 miles on it. Other than for key FOB #1 needing to be replaced when I first took delivery and now the dealership replacing the recalled roof panel....I've had no troubles at all (even with the last 1/2 mile to my house on a lousy dirt road). No real problems with mine.
