did you have any pulling to one side or the other before taking it in?
No there wasn't any pulling to either side at all. I just wanted to get it checked out to be sure it was properly aligned. As stated it was very close to factory specs so I could have saved the 70 bucks.. On the other hand at least I know it's good now. My steering wheel was off a few degrees so he corrected that too.
On the local interstate, they have scraped-down the blacktop and put-up the famous "BUMP" signs, at a bridge. Steel of the bridge is still exposed after three weeks. I hope my fronts were not knocked out of line over the weekend. The westbound lane had more of a bump than going the other way. I bumped in a way that makes folks say cuss
words. Hope nothing happened but, I will be watching my tires. And using a different westbound route. Finish the blacktop job... IDIOTS!!!!!

According to the tech it doesn't take a lot to knock these cars out of alignment. So it's worth keeping a close eye on your tires... Probably wouldn't hurt to have your car aligned once a year. Tires are to expensive to needlessy replace...........

This is exactly what a tech who did my alignment twice said these cars go out easy and to get it adjusted once a year.
would a dealer charge $ to correct factory misalignment, or would it be covered under warranty?
in my experience, if your car has less than 7500 miles, the dealership will do it under warranty, if it's higher then about $65.00 to $75,00 is about normal, but again, find a dealer that does a lot of corvette business or you'll pay in tire costs!
in GM's defense, I've never had any issues with factory alignment on any of the cars that I bought new, which included my C6 , GTO, and Z28. 85K miles on the Z28, 33K miles on the GTO, and 28K miles on the C6...

Have had 6 new GM cars over the years, never had an issue, including the C6, 10,500 miles on it and the tires look new.
