It got here!!
Thanks to Dave @ Kerbeck I took delivery on my 06 C6 Machine Silver LT1 Z51 MN6 Friday 6/2/06 in Nevada. Absolutely awesome! Left Saturday morning for a 240 mile tour of the Sierra's, awesome day with an awesome car. Six SCCA buddies and I drove thriough Red Rock Canyon (north of Reno) up to Frenchman's resovoir, Loyalton, Sierraville, Graeagle, Gold Lakes, Sierra City, and ended up in Truckee, CA. What a blast! This car is incredible, I loved my C5 vert which I owned for 5 years but this car just flat kicks a$$. I'll admit that I was nervous buying the car from a distance, however, Dave and the Kerbeck gang did what no NV or CA dealer seemed capable of; deliver a car on time with a minimim of hassle well below MSRP. Goodby for now I'm off on another jaunt, screw the gas prices, at 21.6 MPG out of the box who cares!!

Did you have it shipped from Kerbeck's? I bet that cost some coins. I flew to NJ and drove back but I'm not as far as you. The flight cost some coins too but less than shipping charges.
Next time (if I ever give up the 05) I'll get a museum delivery.

Shipping wasn't anything, the car was inbound to Kerbeck and hadn't been built when I put down my deposit. Dave did his magic and we got the factory delivery changed to Nevada. It took me a little calling but Jetway Chevrolet in Fallon Nevada received the courtesy shipment for $500. I couldn't find any other dealership to accept it for less, of course some just outright refused. The drive from Fallon to home helped put anther 70 miles towards my break-in. Pictures coming soon.
