Speaker change - what a difference!!!
On the bottom of the door near the rear, there is a slot in the panel to start prying the panel off. Start there and work across the bottom and up the sides. There will be lot of loud popping, the fasteners are serrated and each one make lot of noise as the panel is pried off.
When all the fasteners are clear of the door, the top of the panel will lift off. It's held by hooks that go in a slot near the top of the door panel.
When reinstalling the door, hold the base of the panel out at about 20 degrees and seat the top hooks in their one long mating slot. Push towards the door and down on the panel as you rotate the panel down so the plastic fasteners get a grip. It's all easy except for getting the top hooks back in place the first time.
There is one big electrical connector that has to be disconnected before you can remove the panel form the car. It has enough wire to get the panel completely loose before you unplug it.
