Purchased mud flaps from Vetteshop. Directions for the front say to remove the 3 bottom plastic pins. How do you remove them? I tried using a putty knife and they seemed to want to snap off. Help !!
The center pins have a small notch in the on both sides, if you gently slide a common or flat bladed screw driver into those slots you can pop the center pin up. Once that is done the whole thing (pin and ring) will come out.

Grip pin between head and washer with **** style wire cutters
I used a wide flat bladed screwdriver to pry the center pins up a bit and then used pliers to grip them from the top and pull them the rest of the way out.
Once you figure the first one out you'll be home free.

Use something that grips both sides of the center pin, then pry up. I used some side cutter type of pliers...worked good.
I think Millpond's suggestion is best. I used a flat screwdriver and then regular pliers, and the pliers kind of gouged up the edges of the pin. Not so much that it can readily be seen, but I know it's there.
I used a combination of a flat screwdriver to pry up the pin just enough to make it easier to get side cutter pliers under the head of the pin. They then pull out fairly easily.
