Default Installed Bullets!

Just dropped in the bullets and now i can do fly by's like f-16s!
its an 06 a6 velocity vert and there is some drone but easily handled when shifting. nothing like the horror stories i have seen on here.
the very first time off the lift and ignition sounded like the bat mobile
just fired up. i love it. im sure there are leo's just waiting to ticket me...
guess what ? i don't care. live long.... drive loud! stock exhaust just doesnt have the rumble these cars deserve.

Congratulations!!

Hubby and I just installed the same on my 05 M6 Black Coupe tonight. I agree. I sure love the rumble it makes. The stock exhaust was just too quiet for this car. Now I can make some noise. We are driving to a corvette show about 150 miles away on Sunday. Looking forward to listening to the car the entire way.

I even impressed a bunch of 20 year old kids installing a boom box down the street.

I just got my car back today, I did the procharger, bullets and american racing headers. I have to say this car is extremely loud and tt sounds really bad ***. I have a lot of drone, and I wouldn't suggest the bullets unless you want something very loud. Not sure if you guys have it, but the e\haust pops when i let off the gas, which I don't really like.

that it does when you let off the gas. i cant imagine pro charger and headers.. your talking deafening... maybe in a vert it is not as bad as in a coupe...i wouldnt know. either way , there are pros and cons.

Dropped off my 01 vert with Borla exhaust yesterday and picked up my 06 vert and couldn't believe how quiet it was. I almost couldn't tell it was running. My 11 year old son said "that wimpy exhaust has got to go" This time going with the Bullets. Drive loud, Drive Proud!

I had to swap my Bullets out for Magnaflows, way too much DRONE with my A4 tranny.

But, if you have an A6 or manual tranny where you can shift in and out of drone easily, it would not be as bad.

Nothing turns heads like Bullets on a C6

But, when the top and windows are up, just know it is gonna be a LOUD and BASSY DRONE in the cabin.

I totally agree. I was leary when I first put mine on because of what some people were saying but I don't think it is bad at all. I love mine.

However I will say it brings more attention than normal to the car and I've had several 'modified' Mustangs and 350Zs try to entice me to race them.

I just had Bullets done...along with a couple other things The link below is to another thread on this forum with a couple video clips where you can hear the Bullets in action. I used to have Borla but like the sound of the Bullets much better, I'm sure you'll agree.

Good luck
