Almost pulled the trigger today
I almost traded my MS 05 Z51 MN6 vert w/ NAV today for a VR 06 Z51 A6 vert w/ NAV today. Selling price was good. Got them down from $64,115 to $59,000. That was exicting until them offered me $44,000 for my car which only has 8,100 miles. I walked and now my phone won't stop ringing. After I got home I washed the silver jet with chrome wheels. Can't see my self parting with it now. It looks awesome.

Sometimes if you spend a little time with her, the love rekindles.

Welcome to Economics 101. You have a two year old car. You are trading for a one year old car. You took the depreciation hit when you got your present car, so unless there is something that you can't live without on the '06, keep the one you have.

$44K for a vert is rather low, how much were you hoping to get from a dealer?

Just new car fever and the desire to have the paddle shifter. Stupid and I got over it.

I was hoping for $47-$48 but they weren't going to get near that number.

I guess I'll keep mine for a while longer. Trade in prices are scary.
