Hello,
I am sure this has been asked a bunch of times but I have nothing but trouble puting it in reverse, unless I am rolling backwards. Is there some type of trick to this because I do not want to keep trying to force it in there. Any suggestions would be great.
If it is anything like my Z06 was, a little double clutch works. If it doesn't go the first time, let the clutch out a little to spin the gears to a different position, then it pops right in.
I am in 5th when i think i am in reverse...so i just release the clutch and try again. it seems to help getting into reverse if the car is still slightly moving.
I have the same problem once in a while so here's what works for me;
clutch down, pull shifter into 2nd gear and then into reverse. Works for me every time. There is something about second gear and reverse that makes it work but don't ask me why....the guys on the forum who know about manual gearboxes will know the answer.

I'm glad I'm not the only one with this problem! I feel like a real jackass sometimes when I think I'm in reverse and not moving. It's like you have to jam it.
