Any decent tools to read CEL codes?

Any decent tools to read CEL codes?
After porting my intake, the CEL has come on twice. Car runs fine, but I'd like to know what the code is without losing the car for a day at the dealer.

I have the Innova 3110. It reads the codes and displays the definition on the screen. They all don't do that. I paid around $165 but you can find them cheaper. One member bought his on Amozon.com.

I'm sure the one above will work fine. One important item that I did not see on it is CAN compatible. All auto's will be CAN in 2008 some are now including the C6. The other is the display shows the description of the code. Do the others? It's not a big deal but a nice feature.
