Windshield replacement?

Agreed.. It is her first vette. I have been trying to get her to stick with it She loves the car, but is getting frustrated with all the things gone wrong with it. She also gets the active handling sporadic (dealer has no clue) and is experiecing the noises you speak in tight turns, forward or reverse. I dont know if she knew others were having the same issues, and since I own a c4, I rarely visit this board.
What are your experiences ( repairs, results, etc) with your tight turn noise?

Well, my glass guy has come and gone. He told my son the mirror needs to be replaced as the mounting hole was enlarged from removal and it cannot be tightened again. It really makes it sound like a one-time deal for the mirror. They are going to call me this afternoon to confirm things; I assume that means they are buying a new mirror! It seems like a pretty lame method of attachment for a part that does occasionally require removal due to windshield replacement.
