I'd suggest you do some drawings or photochopping and submit them and then see what people think. I don't think I'd personally be a fan of having a split window, but there might be some people who would.
well if there isnt an interest, im not gonna do it, haha. IM not gonna waste time for nothing, lol. But what iwas actually thinking was to take an actual 63 split window section and glass it in to replace the rear window. could get $$$$ but it'd be original and noone has one done.
Could be problematic as the scale and contour is different on the 63.
Why not mock up with some Avery or 3M adhesive backed vinyl.
This way you can get the correct proportions for the C6.
Worst case is that you peel off some vinyl that cost you under $50.00.
If you like it, pattern it, and consider fabricating out of ABS which is easy to work and is used on car exteriors. Probably don't want to go more then 1/8" thick. ABS can be attached to the existing glass area with a VHB tape.
Well, I played around in photoshop with the idea. Here are a couple of quick renditions with some slight variation on the proportions of the rear window opening.
The first one is more faithful to the original:
The second is allowing for additional rear visibility.
