Default split window conversion? any interest?

A thaught /idea was brought up to me the other day about people may like a split window trim pc for the rear window to look like the "stingray" corvettes in 63 with the split window beings the c6 reesembles the sharks alot......... well i happen to have metal fab skills, aswell as welding skills, if there would be any interest, i could make some ofthese for those that would want them........would there be any interest in something like this?

Somebody photochopped something similar here a few months back. Didn't look all that good.

did it actually look like the real 63's back window? or was it larger? I was thinkin either make it to fit ontop, or actually replace the winow and use actual 63 glass and trim.

Default Could we .....

Get the photo shopped pic's here into this thread ? I may actually be interested, as I am going to add the Lingenfelter CE hood. The split rear window, if done right, might actually look better in person than in a picture.

I've seen photochop versions where someone took the back of a 63 & put it on a C6, and another where someone just painted a center divider. Both ugly imo.

I saw one done last weekend at the Big Bear Run in Calif. It didn't look good at all. Just cheapened the car.

If I have to deal with the blind spot created it would have to be on the original.

I'm anxious to see your prototype installed. Might change my mind.

well if there isnt an interest, im not gonna do it, haha. IM not gonna waste time for nothing, lol. But what iwas actually thinking was to take an actual 63 split window section and glass it in to replace the rear window. could get $$$$ but it'd be original and noone has one done.

i like to cut things up, you'll find this....lol Before i got my c6, iwas gonna get a 91 Zr1 and make it a convertible, with GS paint scheme and LPE Z1 body kit.

I also had an 05 mustang which i had for 2 weeks and did full body kit, i cut my original fenders and make custom fender vents. Just off an idea i had in my head, lol no drawing, no nothing, just measure and cut. ha Looked damn good. Ive made a few custom sets for some people.

I'd still like some sharks gills in the front fender, though.
