Last night I had cleaned her up and started to put her back in her nest (garage). I did not know how close I was to a drawer and suddenly hit the drawer going 1 or 2 mph, I under estimated the length of the front, ****. That hurt me more that it hurt the vette. Luckly it 3m clear bra took the impact. My other half said "your to overprotective with the vette", it's just a car! Hell ya I'm over protective, there nothing wrong with that! When we go out to eat, watch a movie, malls, or run errands I park far! Are you over protective with your vette?
i was until it drove me nuts! i had one painted original and one night i came home and pulled between my truck and my wifes car, frantically watching back and forth to make sure i wasn't going to hit either one when all of a sudden, SMASH. right into the garage door! took 6" of paint and fiberglass off the nose. i have bought a 98 03 and an 06 since then, i bring them home, put up on my lift and taks a screwdriver and put a 3"-4" gouge, scrape, what ever u want to call it, on the bottom rocker panel under drivers door!! guess what, what a differance. i know enjoy driving the car and don't worry about **** things. i still park way away though. just a great piece of mind! ??
