Default Wind Deflector

Just purchased my 06 DSOM Vert. I am very happy. On my other cars I have had a wind deflector. I see on the Corvette Store there are several. Do people have them? Which one is the best? Are they helpful with the wind noise? Can they stay in place when you put the top up? Any help is appreciated.....

I dont have one...but have considered them. The main negative point is that NONE of them can stay in place when you raise the top. I have a power top, so I would have to get out, remove the deflector and then power my top up...

That is the only thing stopping me from getting one. If you have a manual top, its less of an issue. There was a new smaller one advertised on here a couple of weeks ago...it looked like one of the better designs (I think it is a new VetteNet).

I've got the coupe, and I've been looking for one for when the targa top is off. You get a nasty cyclone action back in the cargo area, and then it shoots back at ya'. I was wonderign if there was a screen that would prevent the wind from entering the cockpit to begin with.

i have one on my 05 power top vert. love it. you can remove it quickly if you have to by reaching up behind you while parked and stowing it on the pass. side. only drawback to this is you can't have a passinger with you to do this. lol. ..crancky

I like it and my wife loves it. No more knotted hair which in turn makes my life better.

Raise your windows about 3-4 inches (experiment to find the lowest point) and you will find significant noise and wind reduction. Get the wife a baseball hat!

I have the GM windscreen and am very happy with it. Yes, you must stow it before putting up the top, but I can remove it and raise my manual top in about 1 1/2 minutes. It cuts out about half the noise and the wind, and as previously stated and most important, keeps my wife's hair from getting so messed up. A happy wife=a happy vette owner.
