Corvette Central. Any problems?

Corvette Central. Any problems?
I ordered a sunshade from them on 7-15. Promised 7-26. Still waiting for it. Any one have any info on these guys. Are they OK or am I going to lose my bucks?

yes, they emailed me back that it was back ordered, but then I got a notivce from amazon.com saying it was back ordered. Pretty common and simple thing. I am paying 76.00 for it and I want it or i want to go somewhere else as I need the darn thing.

I had trouble with them and will no longer do business with them. In addition to my C6, I am restoring my '64 coupe that I have owned since 1970. I ordered a 4 speed rebuild kit. When I assembled the transmission with the new main bearing, there was interference with the case. I bought a new bearing and no problem. I sent them the old bearing and the bearing in the kit. They were obviously not the same. They would not reimburse me the cost of the new bearing.

I have purchased many items for my 1960 vette from Corvette Central. Once in awhile items are on back order, but they always let me know that via email. I have had many positive experiences with them. I have never purchased anything from them for my C6, but I don't believe it would make a difference.
