Default Anybody ever consider doing this?

I hope I don't get flamed for this, but has anybody ever considered doing this to their C6. I know the C6 has too much junk in the trunk(big rear end). The thing is I would see it on the C5's and liked the way they looked.

I wanted to get everybodies opinion on this.

Sorry for the first pic being big.

Gotta say I liked it okay on the C5, but it doesn't "float my boat" on the C6.

Looks better on the C5, but I don't like it on either.

It doesn't do too much for me....it's not bad but I would never consider doing it to my C6.

IMO the C5 rear end was/is awful. I was going to buy one of the first in 97 but no way. The C6 is not great but they softened the big butt a lot IMO. I think the blackout treatment makes it worse and I don't like it. The rear end should have been restyled more for the C6 IMO. But mostly I like the cars lines from the side a lot and dont' care what people in back of me think. just my opinions. If you like this then great for you and I am not complaining it's your car etc.

Even if it did look good, which it does not, the line separation at the rear and quarter panels would look brutal!

I think someone was one step ahead of you. They weren't quite as tasteful though.
