I am looking for a place to rent a C6 for a long weekend in the Houston area. I am not looking for an individual car, but an agency.

I drive past this place on Westheimer and Berring every single day that has 2 C6's. The name escapes me however... if you don't have a response by tonight I'll try and look at it tomorrow.

Do a search on Google for "exotic car rental houston" (without the quotes). You'll get a few useful links. Looks like it will be expensive. About $350 per day! Better than $3999 per day for a Mercedes SLR McLaren or $1799 per day for a Lamborghini Gallardo.

I did that 2 years ago at Houston Exotics. My wife rented it for me as a surprise. She didn't look over the car when she picked it up. Also, they didn't have the blue automatic promised her, but a yellow 6 speed (which was the owners friends car).

Anyway, when I returned it they went over it with a fine tooth comb and charged us for every little paint nick and scratch they could find. All of them were there when she brought home the car, but she didn't notice anything on the initial walkthrough (she wasn't looking for anything minor as paint chips or scratches).

They were very rude and charged me $750 on top of the $350 a day rent. Of course I could avoid it if I wanted to buy the car since his friend was trying to sell it.

If you do rent one, be sure and point out ANY blemish before you leave with it!!!!!
