Windshield coated

MY windhsield sheds water as if it had RainX on it. Anyone else. No I have not put RainX on it.
I purchased it new 7/8. Don't know if dealer put anything on. Neighbor said he thought new windshield might be made differently and shed water better than the old. It's not just the rake. Water beads just like RainX which I've used for years.

Is your car new or used, has it been washed or detailed anywhere. Rejex is a polymer sealant that many here use on the paint and glass. Things like bugs and water just don't stick to it, I can't wait to use mine

It is just the angle of the rake of the windshield that is shedding the water off.

My 06 is the same way. The dealer drove mine for about 800 miles before I bought it. Been meaning to ask them what they put on the windshield.

Well ! is your car new ? Did you just get it detailed ? Not enough detail there. I don't think there is such a thing called "self beading glass". Someone put rainX similar prod on it.
