I had the same question. I don't live a great neighborhood, but if your driving a sweet 400 hp vehicle like a vette your gonna attract attention either way. I say go with your favorite color and who cares about who says what or worry about reactions. Who wants to live life worried all the time. I'm just gonna make sure I don't **** off the neighbors and keep it covered. Besides, let your insurance coverage give you comfort. I'm going Yellow for sure But if your really worried I heard the vandals aren't into brown volvo's - there's a safe bet GL
We agree 100% But do not get Velocity Yellow unless you want everyone to look, whistle, stare or even kiss the street you drove down. (Long story)
Yep!
Even here is LA, where there are Ferrari's, Lambo's, Mazarati's, P'cars ect. the Vette still gets the looks, thumbs, whistles(can;t hear over the Bullets), ect.
Vandals. - If it isn't being garaged, then I don't know what to tell you.
Car cover will get stolen.
Don't know what else could happen.
I agree that all the colors look great. Based on the sage counsel here, I'll move ahead with the yellow. I think it is like love - there is no way to break it down by analysis.
I've got all my finances in order and I'm going to give myself a two week cooling off period before taking the plunge. I'm going to imagine myself driving the yellow Vette as I go about my business in my silver Acura TL.
I have owned yellow and now own silver.
I also live in a nice area and garage my cars.
Buy what you like, not what you think other people will or won't like!
Life is too short to worry about other people.

Thats the total opposite of the spectrum... Yellow will get that car super noticed, almost aggravating, the attention you get, and silver is weak DD color, no washing required.
Get a car of color, Monty Red, LMB or Black, unless you plan to drive it every day, then get Silver or white, easy maint...
