The hands-free set up I have using Verizon through the OnStar system works fine for me. It plays through the stereo and can be as loud or quiet as I want. It does not work well with the top down however.
I just switched to Verizon. I have the A870 which has the speaker phone setup. How can this be channeled through On-Star???
I got the Parrot 3100. It works seamlessly with the radio. As i start the car, it connects automatically. Mute the radio with incoming and outgoing calls. Uses radio speakers for output. Comes with microphone. The sound is very clear. It show caller ID, phone book, and voice commands...

Did you take it somewhere to have it installed, or did you do it yourself? Do you know where the connection is made to make the mute function work?
I had the Motorola Bluetooth Carkit IHF 1000 installed in my car when I redid the whole audio system and head unit.
Hands-free in vehicle will become law in CA this summer.

I'm hoping the folks at parrotkits.com will come up with an application for the 2007 Corvette. I just wrote them an email to express interest. If you would like Bluetooth in your C6, you might want to write them too. If there's broad interest, it may convince them to bump this project higher in priority on their to-do list. My BMW and 300C SRT8 both came with Bluetooth. Hard to believe a 2007 Corvette would not.
There is a forum member who did a DIY w/lots of pictures...do a search.
Might be me.
Here's the link to how to install a Parrot system: linko
I'm bummed to say that recently it quit working. I haven't had time to diagnose it, but I'm guessing there is a failure in the actual unit because it still functions in part, but not in the part that I need.
