Does any one know how or what to use to polish out minor pits / nicks in the windshield? I am not talking about the chunks or cracks that can be filled or repaired by a professional, just the little impact marks left by pebbles. I knew someone that once smoothed out deep scratches left by windshield wipers that were run without blades.
Thanks,
Try Bon Ami cleanser. Use it like a polish, make a pad out of a towel, moisten it, sprinkle cleanser on the towel, use quite a bit. It will polish the glass and lessen the look of the nicks.
I know what you are going through, I hate those chips in the glass.

Has anyone tried using these products on a random orbit polisher (wax polisher)? Since they are abrassives and need lots of elbow grease, maybe this might make short work of it.
