Here is the drive ratios for all the C6 cars (minus the early C6 with the A4 tranny)

For what it's worth ...

Oh Please say it isn't so..... not Elvis.......

And by the way my Z51 A6 is faster than your M6 every day of the week.

Yours is a LS2, mine is a LS3. Thus, mine is faster.

It just depends what you are doing with the car
Your question was a very simple one relative to the gearing of the Z51 and I think others did give you good answers. Incidently MSOM 51 is a very good dependable source to depend on when it comes to the Z51..

Sorry for the rant.....by the way Organ C6...show us your ride~~~~
HUM....actually, the Z-51 is a base Corvette with a couple of extra options. Not sure why anyone would try and separate the two. I have the Z-51 option on my 06 vert. And if i ever discuss my Corvette with someone, I simply tell them that its a 2006 base model vert. I don't try and impress by saying that I have a Z-51 Corvette......

Your LS3 only has a compression ratio of 10:7:1.
My LS2 has a compression ratio of 10:9:1.

Thus mine is better

If I was worried about gas mileage I wouldn't have bought a Corvette.

And you wanted to talk about racing.... Your LS3 won't even make the distance to the finish line.

"The 2008 Corvette was actually planned to have displacement on demand but the front engine rear transmission configuration of the Corvette caused a drive-line vibration that could not be overcome for its implementation. The LS3 engine currently in place in the 2008 and 2009 Corvette C6 has the software in place to implement."

Sorry but I'm a Trump guy, I'd rather not have this Obamanism crap in my vette. 07 LS2 FTW!

Nothing wrong with mine, so we're right back to where we started, with mine being faster.

...That you know of, I bet this implemented software makes your LS3 just as fast as my LS2.

"Yeah but only by a car length. That's a microscopic difference."
