Performance Chip

I have heard people talking about a "performance chip" upgrade for C-6's since they came out but have yet to actually see one. Is this real or someones wishful thinking?
Comments...facts would be appreciated.

AFAIK there is no "chip" for the C6.

No "chip" you just alter the program. Several vendors on this site to have this done.

I think SuperChips has recently released a program for the C6, but I'm not aware of anyone that's used it. http://www.superchips.com/home.phtml

A custom tune (dyno and/or street) is the way to go if you've added any mods.

No chips. Flash memory that can be reprogrammed, like firmware. I haven't heard of any do it yourself versions for the C6, however. If there were a decent one, I'd be interested too.

I've never heard of a performance 'chip' for a C6...only performance tuning.

With the popularity of the so-called performance 'chip' for diesel trucks, I do know a local dealership in Tucson is aggressively denying warranty service for any 'chip-modded' diesels.

Did my computer mod and has to be done by someone with a clue and prefer a dyno. No chip or a chip connection.

handheld tuner offered for C6 ... I believe Hypertechs is out also. Superchips has one forthcoming. You can also have professional tuning done at many outlets with/out dyno's to dial in your specific car.
