Don't really like the look, but would like to have something to prevent chips and scratches.

Pipedreams (www.nakidparts.com) has the best. Hardly noticeable, but very effective.

Look for them in this photo:

Here's a close up and you can hardly notice Pipedreams guards.... They were the least expensive BEST mod I've done to my vette. Not one chip after 6000 miles of lots of country roads...

I've had my "pipedreams" guards on for almost 9000 miles without the tiniest pit or scratch on the fender lips or rockers. A great, easily installed product that I will never be without!

You don't even see them after the first day they're on.

OK, we'll cut you some slack cause you're kinda new here. http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show...=splash+guards
4 out of 5 Corvetteists agree I really do like the look. When our 06 Vert got totaled, after finding out my wife and daughter were OK, my main worry was Ed's splash guards surviving. At the time he had a material shortage and I thought I'd never have a chance at getting more. Well, Ed Pipedreams, aka www.nakidparts.com splash guards came through with flying colors and he seems to have and endless supply.

PS, Ed you got any other parts you need me to test to such rigiorous standards ? You got my address, just send some cool stuff

Congrats on your up comming Vette order, and I think Ed's splash guards are the best thing you can do for your car.

I can make out the one on the rear. But then again, I've got them so knew what to look for. We have the same color MR and the black blends in with the tires. Only the shadow noes.

I have to travel 4/10 of a mile on my gravel driveway, so the splash guards are alomost a necessity to keep stone chips off sides of car.

Pipedreams splash guards was the first mod I put on my new C6. I never liked the looks of the splash guards, either, but these are very functional, easy to install and priced right. You won't be sorry buying these splash guards.

I put Pipedreams product on in the winter (just last weekend) because of obvious reasons.
I take them off in the summer because of the simplicity of the install, it only takes me 5 minutes to do the on/off. I'd rather not think that some dirt maybe trapped behind them hurting the paint all summer from the winter debris, so they're only on for 6 months.

I use them. I bought them before I knew about Pipedreams. I got them from another forum vendor and they look the same, and attatch the same way.
Personally, I view them as a necessary evil. They look like crap, but they really save the day.
It would be really nice if someone would fabricate a set that looked like the ones on the Z06. Those serve a purpose and actually look pretty good on the car.

Had mine on for almost 12 months straight before I had to take them off (body work needed to be done). I found no dirt or any scratching behind any of the guards. Actually I was surprised how clean it was.
