Default Paint Code

Does anyone know where to look for the car's paint code? My painter said it should be in the glove box. There is a bunch of numbers in there. What will it look like?

it's on the very last line of the label in the glovebox. It's a "U" followed by some numbers.

Going by your picture you have either

Millennium Yellow U79

or

Velocity Yellow U45

This is in your glove box

Of course! I looked at that tag in my car and could not read the numbers because the tag was affixed on the horizontal and I did not pay attention to the numbers.

Yes, you must be correct.. Thanks for providing the obvious..

The paint code and the RPO code for the color are two different things.

GM labels them a little differently in the order book for 2007 vettes.

They call 45U the color code, and WA-300N is the Touch Up Paint Number.
