snow sucks, rain sucks, it rained for the 1st time in a loooooooong time today and it sucked, i was sliding everywhere and with my car being so low it was rough, man im so glad im in phx.
Actually, I love the snow. Many years ago when I was far more adventurous that I am now, I even drove my Vette without snow tires through a couple of inches of snow. As you can imagine there ws lots of slidding, but back then I thought it was fun. I'm not so certain that I would interpret the slidding of a $50K+ as fun today.
I sympathise with you but there are times (such as Christmas) when I wouldn't mind some snow. It's ironic, the last time it snowed in Tucson on Christmas day (an especially rare event), I was spending the holiday at my Brother-in-Law's 'lodge' in Telluride....watching the Christmas snow in Tucson on the National news!
We're expecting blue skies and 65 degrees for Christmas...enjoy your holiday snow!
I agree, as a first year Vette owner, winter sucks!
After a very mild Fall in Minneapolis Minnesota, we got hit with a couple inches of wet snow this week. Hopefully, this will melt soon and I will still be able to drive the Vette again on weekends.
Still waiting for my October ordered 269HP RAV4 to arrive to replace
my 125 HP AWD Matrix as my winter and utility vehicle.
Happy holidays everyone, and especially those in the service!
All the snow has melted here in Chicago, but the weather still stinks. We all know how fun the GY Supercar tires can be in cold weather, so I put the car away Thanksgiving weekend, and it won't be taken out of storage until late March. I'm already exhibiting withdrawal symptoms, like making engine sounds in my sleep. Argh...
