Tire Replacement Question
I priced new tires at TireRack and when I tried to see the shipping charges, a notice came up that said if I was selecting less than full set of replacement tires, I should use the "Tire Decision Guide" feature of the web site to select the best tire for my needs even though I had already chosen the 245/40ZR18 LL Goodyear Eagle F1 A/S-C EMT Blackwall RunFlat OEM tire.
Maybe thats why you get "selecting less than full set" message.
I'm also confused further because we have 18" and 19" sizes, so a full set of 18's would be just 2 tires. You would have to order two different part numbers to get all four tires, so Tireracks qty 2 that you entered would always be off, (assuming thats what generates the error) you would never order 4 of the same part number for our C6's application.
I think this is a Tirerack software hiccup.
You absoutly can just replace either the front or the backs.

I also ended up getting the new fronts (OEM GY GS-2 EMT) which listed for $369.99 and they gave me $20 off each tire so I ended up getting them for almost what I would have paid if I ordered them from the Tire Rack and no shipping charges...
Went for a short run and it's like driving a new car...I can't believe the difference...
