Ok, sports fans. I have a confession to share and I'm wondering if I'm the only weirdo out there who has this problem.
I will sometimes go into our garage and just look at our Vette. Just look. Admire the lines, which are these soft sexy curves (just like my wife) but badass at the same time (well, just like my wife!).
My wife and daughter think I'm a candidate for the Spot The Loony Club.
So--anyone else go out to the garage/driveway/whatever and just....admire?

I wish I could tell you that you are alone, but alas, I can't Me too. Wife wife is finally used to it after 2 years with the C4, 4 years with the C5 and now one with the C6. Nothing wrong with being happy about what you got.
You are not alone my friend, my whole family thinks I am nuts. I have had mine since Oct. and just love this car. I had a 2002 WS6 Transam
that I thought I was in love with until I found out what true love for a a car is all about.
I can't stand to see a spot of dirt on it, I had to buy a second hand car just so I could choose the days I would drive it to work.

Its especially nice after I have worked hard all week, get the chores done around the house and relax sittin on my work bench with a cold beer in my hand looking at my baby and feeling satisfied with it all.
I'm with ya, Bud. Even after having mine (my first Corvette) for 18 months, I still go to the garage and gawk for a few minutes before turning in for the night.
(Geez, I can't believe I'm going to make public what I'm about to say.) Sometimes, especially after I've just finished washing and waxing the car and detailing the interior, I even go out there with a couple of CDs, sit in the driver's seat with the interior lights on, and listen to tunes while reminding myself of how fortunate I am to not only have such a car, but also to enjoy it so much. It's genuine bliss.
That's one of the reasons people buy this kind of car in the first place. We buy them so we can admire it in the comfort of our own garage instead of driving over to the dealer everytime we want to drool!
You're not alone. I tend to get busy and do something while I'm there but that gives me an excuse just to admire the car. Fortunately, I can drive it year-round (yesterday was blue skies and 75....I had the top off).
My 14 year old daughter thinks I'm obsessed but I explained to her my Suburban is for hauling around the kids, the dogs, the horse trailer....hauling stuff while the Corvette is just for hauling-***....it's my escape. I think she finally 'got it.'

I'll go to the window in my bedroom and look out at my C6 sitting in the driveway all the time. Especially just after it's been washed and waxed. The C6 is just sooo beautiful and sexy. It's the best looking Corvette ever built.
I have that problem in a big way. I think it has become an Obsessive Compulsive Disorder........I have had mine for over 2 years and have 1,134 miles on it. It's like an obsession for not wanting to get it dirty.
I just enjoy looking at it shining in the garage........
My entire family and friends think I have completely lost my mind. I even hear people I don't know well wanting to know why I don't drive it!
I have put several thousand dollars in mods.....dynatech supemaxx headers and B&B Route 66 exhaust..........
If anyone has a cure for this disorder, please let me know..................
