I noticed this was posted by SuperChevyICM forum dealer as a .pdf so here is what it looks like. Missing is Monterey Red, replaced by Crystal Claret, and bye bye LeMans Blue to BlueStream. Of other note is Sienna and Linen "custom leather wrap" whatever that wraps? Plus an A6 performance 2.73 axle and "split" spoke wheels. 4LT option-does this maybe mean Bluetooth? Oh, something about a LS3 engine in 2008 too
Cool post and your first out of the gate with Factory info here I think...
Looks like the LS3 controversy / mystery is put to rest, now what's the HP going to be?
Would like to see what the wheel options look like as well, more new things to tinker with for my 06
They are changing the wheels again after (3) model years, just like the C5's. First the wide spoke wheels, then narrow/split spoke wheels. Looks like a plan to sell more wheels to existing owners.
Good stuff....now if someone would come up with a sample of the Bluestream.....wonder if its a match to Nausau Blue?
According to PPG's website paint code;
85U is listed as
Raspberry Pearlcoat previously used on corvette 1993 model
And 89U is listed as
Purple Graphite met used on corvette 1998 - 1999
As comparison from the name to what the color is 74U is Victory Red but PPG calls it Wildfire Red used on corvette 1996 - 2004
Now if there not using PPG as a supplier who knows

Also ... couldn't the paint code's change over time ... like 85U in 2006 is different from 85U in 1950?
As far as paint supplier ... it is probably PPG ... since they supply most of the US auto industry
I have seen in numerous other threads about the LS3 being a DoD motor however I have not seen anything in the latest threads about the 08 having this type of motor. Anyone know the truth? If it does have a DoD type system on it that would change my mind to buy an 07 (original plan). Also since I am new to the forum, is there dealers that take the GM supplier discount on a new model year, such as the change from a C5 to a C6. I suppose it would be towards that particular model change year?

The L92, nee LS3, is a DoD engine. That's a good thing. More power, no gas guzzler tax.
