Man this car is going to drive me nuts. First the noisy brakes , then the convert top getting stuck, then the fender hitting the door, then the clutch packs( what a mess). Then the visor mirror covers broke(both of them).....then the convert handle switch broke...almost crazy. Then the switch in the trunk for the convert top. Now the front tire make noise in the morning when you back down the driveway and turn. Sounds like there no grease in something. Today the dealer said not to park it outside at night?ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!
Although my 2005 coupe had been extremely reliable and trouble-free, I'm sorry to hear of your problems. Fortunately, your problems sound relatively minor and I'm guessing still covered under warranty. Why don't you take the car to the dealership to have the problems fixed.
As far the the suggestion about the 'lemon law,' its provisions are quite specific...you might want to do a search and read the actual conditions under which the 'lemon law' can be invoked.

Good luck with the repairs.
I think the Dealership might be half the problem! John o Sullivan (Roseville CA.) Had it to the dealer around ten , if not more times , going to change dealers tomm. Thanks
I'm sure its frustrating, but the problems seem like all things that can be fixed.
I think they all can be fixed, It just takes time I guess. It seems like I get something fixed and something else breaks...who ever hear of visior covers breaking?

thats probably your best bet. I seriously doubt you would have any headway in a LemonLaw case without major engine/tranny/computer meltdown
and for the record, one of my visor covers is broken too, and I'll be dammed if I know how it happened

Hey all you folks who were bad mouthing Consumer Reports for putting the Corvette on their "Least Reliable List." Looks like this is another justification for that positioning.

Yea we all know that forums like this are havens of people posting "my car never breaks down" type threads. So when we see a bad one we know vettes must be junk.
Sounds like it's a piece of junk...I'll give you $5 for it.
Not funny. If you're going to own a vette, you have to have patience and fix it when it breaks. I think most reliability problems are with the electrical if I remember. Engine and drivetrain are solid. Vettes have always been unreliable. But there is nothing else like them for the money.
