I know I enjoy driving my Vette, and I assume you enjoy driving yours. That's the only thing that counts. If someone else doesn't like your Vette, then that's their problem not yours or mine.
Im really happy to see that some one says this, because I tough people was very rude to me just because Im a mexican driving a brand new vete
thats why I got this

Probably because Vette owners are often perceived as egotistical car lovers that think their cars are the only one on the road. I believe in going slow over the speed bumps but I've seen guys go three time slower than they really need to. How many times have you seen the Vette parked out in the far reaches of the lot or taking up two spaces?
The other reason might be that the average Vette owner thinks everyone else is jealous of them. This is from the minivan owner to the cop that stops them. I've got news for you, not everyone wants to drive a Vette. I have friends that say they like my Vette but would spend the money on a new loaded SUV. In case you haven't looked lately a loaded Denali, Escalade, etc will cost what your Vette did.
Get off your self induced pedestal and realize he was just honking at you for your behavior and not because he was jealous of your Vette.

As my father used to say, "Don't sweat the petty stuff ... and don't pet the sweaty stuff." That's probably not relevant to this thread, but I thought I'd throw it in anyway
Who cares? That person would do the same no matter what car you are in. An awful lot of people today are always in hurry to nowhere. I am always being passed and I love it when I see them down the road on the side listening to the police explain their ticket.
The majority of people never have a problem - and in fact receive mostly great feedback from others. A few have more than their share of negative responses. Funny how that works.
Maybe it was your driving and not the car? Maybe they just had a bad day? Not everyone hates you because you drive a Corvette and most don't care one way or the other.

Better put me down as guilty on this one
Aint nothing wrong with that...but when people do it taking up two spaces, they are just asking for trouble. Might as well put a sign on your car "please f*ck with me while my owner is in the store"
I never really see much negativity, more the opposite actually. I've had a lot of people come up to look at the car & talk to me about it. Driving around, I get a lot of thumbs up & waves.
Everyone here seems to love the car. By the way, give that cat something to eat!

So..... just curious, how many people can you get in your Vette?
Of course I'm only kidding! Corvettes are for everyone. It makes no difference to me who is driving any type of car. I'll wave at every Vette I see and thumbs up to other cool cars. There's a few people on here that I have seen that are from other countries.
Nuvetteowner,
I am a former resident of Broward and Palm Beach Counties and I was amazed at how grumpy a lot folks were around there. I got so tired of having my ankles rammed at the grocery store with out the least murmur of an apology from the offenders that my wife & I ended up hiring someone to do the grocery shopping for us. It was great when I moved to central FL and folks would smile at you, ask how you are doing and actually wait for an answer.
I wouldn't worry about it, I honked at some girl on her cellphone going 38mph on a local highway here, and she flipped me off. Whatever. Try not to let it bother you, there is no minimum speed in parking lots
