You will need a new battery for sure. It was damaged when discharged fully. Dead Batteries will keep happening till you replace that one. Good Luck.

Ugh - why is your car covered with an oily residue? Especially when you put it away for the winter?

It wouldn't surprise me that the mental midgets who QC the vettes let one slide through with no key hole.
What do you think the odds are the next version of the vette goes back to a standard key?

My R8C delivery went very smoothly and I remember being shown how to remotely open the door as well as the fuel door. Also, I was shown how to exit the car if there was no power. Without a doubt, one of the most (if not the most) comprehensive descriptions and "hands on" explanations of a new car that I have ever had. I do, however, remember thinking during portions "Is he ever going to finish so I can drive this beautiful machine?".

Same with me as my sales person went over the car at my LOCAL dealership. I was thinking....move along, I want to drive!!! In the process, I missed a few points.

Dave at Kerbeck went over all the manual controls if the battery dies, and actually operated all of them to be sure they worked (key, gas cap, door releases) he also checked the glove box FOB port.
