Warranty Question
I took my car into the shop to get a cam, lt, and borla put on.
A few days after I had everything installed the snow and sleet came to TX. Soon after it all left my brakes started squeaking.
Do you think I will have a problem taking my car into the dealership to get them to look at my brakes? My car only has 3,800 miles on it. It is brand new.

No problem. They don't need to know about the cam and it's not related to the brake problem anyway. If it's a Z51 they may tell you the squeal is normal. They replaced some pads early in the run but lately they call it normal. Some dealers will still replace them.

If your car (with a cam, long tube headers and exhaust) sounds even remotely like mine, they won't have to be a rocket scientist to figure out it's no longer stock. I'd be up-front about what was done to the car.
They should have no problem looking at or servicing your brakes under warranty. If they tried to deny warranty service on your brakes based on the modifications you did, that would really be pushing it IMO.
I believe they will certainly deny any future warranty work on the engine, clutch, transmission, drive train and PCM (assuming it was tuned and factory specs were altered). After the modifications you did, that's to be expected and reasonable. It's possible but again IMO I doubt they will deny warranty service on the brakes.
Keep us posted.

Yea...they will be able to notice mods were done to the car...if my whole neighborhood can tell then so can they...hahahaha
i will keep ya'll posted...i figured it would void my other warranties but i didn't think it would affect the brakes...i just wanted to make for sure before i just pulled up in there

If they are like my dealer, they will do nothing about the brake noise. I was told there is as of yet no replacement pad for our disc brakes, so nothing they can do under warranty. If you get more satisfaction, please let me know the details.

Put on some new brake pads and follow a bed in procedure to a T. It may fix the squeak. That's my advice.

Here is a good one, I used it and my brakes have not squeaked.
If you already did this originally then disregard my advice.
