Default Quick easy to answer question.

This sounds stupid and I a bit embarrassed to ask but… how do I remove the floor mats in my 07 coupe?

First roll them towards the seat from the brake pedal area. Gentle twisting with the screwdriver is OK, just don't get under the plastic ring on the floor board, just between the 2 rings is good.

No stupid questions - only stupid answers! The screwdriver method above works. I lifted the back of the mat and located the post or fastener and lifted at that point. I just used a little force (ok- maybe more than a little) and lifted them off the post. The little trim rings on the mats came apart but once I had the mat off I just snapped them back together. I put the factory mats in the box that my Lloyd's mats came in. The factory mats will probably never see the light of day again.

Yes, the retention is a little too tight on some cars. When I removed my mats, the donut retainer seperated.
