Default '07 Pricing Perspective Sought........

I have been shopping and am ready to pull the trigger on anew '07 coupe. I plan to order the car. After a bit of shopping I have a dealer offering a price a few hundered under "dealer invoice". I've checked the various internet sources and the price is indeed under invoice. I have not gotten any other prices close to this level. Is this a deal to good to be true???? Comments/advice please.........

Not this time of year. But does the dealer have a build date for you? You could end up waiting for a while to get it.

Sounds like you have done your home work, That deal is true you should be able to get a 07 at invoice or just under with a very little effort. ( Pull the trigger )

I am concerned about allocations and a potential wait. Any way to confirm dealer's reported allocations?

Ask your dealer when his next allocation is coming up they already know how many they are getting over the next couple of months.

A couple hundred under invoice is very doable. I bought a coupe LMB/3LT/F55/gray wheels (ordered end of Nov and picked up 12/7) for that price. I currently have an order in for an '07 vert VY/A6 for a couple hundred over invoice. She should be here end of Feb.

This should work for you if the dealer has an allocation. To find this out ask him to show you his allocation letter and what the order number is on your car and what the TPW (target production week) will be. If your dealer can't won't tell you this information, go find another dealer.

Ron @ EVS (a forum vendor) can likely get you your car at/near your price.

Default Under invoice?

Would you guys mind letting me know who is doing under invoice??? I did extensive shopping to "order" my 2007 Vette and only found ONE forum dealer who would order under invoice...........GMID no problem, but that's not under invoice...............And are you talking true invoice or invoice with the holdback and advertising fee tacked on....how about dealer fees.........you also have to add $300 to $500 dealer courtesy fee if you order and have it shipped to your local dealer.....

Would appreciate the clarification and dealers contacts....please feel free to send me a PM...

Thanks very much

Under invoice is a good deal. I would jump on it as long as they have allocation.

New Corvettes are stacking up at dealers everywhere and the prices are really dropping - even here in South Florida.

It is a real buyer's market now for Corvettes.
