My car does not match the sticker. Say's I have 6 disk cd. I only have single diskwith nav?
May be others but.No biggie to me
6 disc is standard with 3LT so it's shown on the sticker. When you order NAV this is deleted, but still shown on the sticker because it's standard equipment. The delete is probably on the sticker somewhere as well, I don't remember for sure.
I have never heard of a case where the car was built incorrectly. ORDERED incorrectly by the dealer, yes, far too many times, but not built incorrectly.

I pick mine up later this week, lets hope it is what I ordered!
When I asked the dealer about this he sent me a paper that showed the VIN number, equipment and color that was ordered. It is called a BARS document. See if you dealer will show it to you.
When I ordered my (NCM pick up) 05, it was ordered with standard wheels, as I intended to change them out.
By honest mistake they ordered it with the polished wheels. I found this out when 2 days before leaving for the museum; I went to the dealers to pay the car off.
They admitted it was a mistake, and did not try to charge me extra for the wheels.
The sales manager’s exact words were. "We ordered the wheels wrong, its out fault, no charge, keep them and enjoy your new car"

Dealer did the right thing. I'm sure this has left a favorable impression of your dealership experience and increased the likelihood of going back to them. On the other hand, they could have tried to make you pay for the wheels and made it a very negative experience. Kudos to your dealer.

At the NCM when I picked up my VETTE, I talked with everyone doing that also and no one said anything about this.

My guess is about 99.99% of cars that are configured wrong are due to the dealer ordering it wrong, not the factory building the wrong car. The process is so heavily automated I just don't see how there could be an error in how the car is configured.

When I ordered my '07 I ordered it with the painted top. When it arrived it had the glass top. They were going to re-order me the correct top and then exchange them but I told them to wait until I found out more about the so called "fix". Lucky I kept mine because the first few batches of '07 painted tops used the old materials/adhesive. I've grown to like my glass top.
mine (05) shows am/fm stereo cd w/rds & mp3 but i ordered the nav-------- do I have the "w/rds &mp3 " ??

When I had my 06 C6 up on the lift to replace the standard suspension anti-sway bars with Z51 anti-sway bars, I found that I already had the larger Z51 bar on the front, and the skinny standard bar on the back. Fichtner's graciously accepted the front Z51 bar I had bought from them back for full credit.
I wonder if some 06 Z51 is running around with a standard front anti-sway bar ? ? ?
It seems more likely that the order would go in wrong than they would build the order the wrong way. My Dealer went over the order with me before he entered it in the computer, and had me look at it again and initial it after it was entered.

Yeah, I lost track of how many times I reviewed the order to ensure it was correct.
One thing that can and does happen is that there will be a running change that makes your order unbuildable. Then the factory will notify the dealer, and the dealer is supposed to get your okay before they build it. I had that happen once on another car, where they changed the engine/transmission combination during the model run. It actually provided a better choice, so I went ahead.
The strangest mistake I have ever heard of was a guy on the forum a year or so ago. His car had a manual transmission, but the steering wheel had the "paddle" shifters on it.

Ah...the best of both worlds...you can paddle or row.
