First Time Owner!
Just picked up my 07 Z51 coupe yesterday afternoon from Tim and Carl at Boardwalk Chevrolet in Redwood City. One of the best car buying experiences I have had, thanks to a great team there!
The car? I had gone about a 5 miles and wife reached over to see if woody was there because I was going crazy. As all of you know this is one incredible car. This morning we are headed up the coast on HWY 1 out of San Francisco for the weekend to break her in, weather is great and the road is like a snake!
Just want to thank again the guys who host a great forum and to all the people who post here, man I knew a lot before buying because of it, so heres one for all of you

Of all the things I miss about CA, (not many), the Hiway 1 cruise I do miss. Lived on the central coast and drove up 1 to Monterey many times. The most beautiful drive I have ever seen. Have fun.

Looks like this road was made for a Z51 C6. Enjoy, be safe and take plenty of photo's for your mid-west land locked buddies.

Congratulations! You are right about the Corvette Forum....it is a tremendous resource thanks to all those that share their time, experience and expertise. It sounds like you have a great weekend planned (I used to spend a lot of time in the City and I still miss that area).
A few (possibly amusing) comments came to-mind about the 'woody' but I think I'll let your wife deal with that.
