Steering Wheel Problem

My 06 steering wheel is showing small cracks in several place that I never touch and I only have 4300 miles and a little over a year use. I took it to the dealer today and the advisor said that he thought they should replace the steering wheel. When I picked up my car atfer having an oil change he said that the service manager said the cracking was from my ring. I then showed the service advisor that I don't wear rings. He said that he will try to get the wheel replaced under warranty. I also am having the dealer check my replacement SMC top which appears to be delaminating from the inside (air bubble underneath the headliner that you can press and hear cracking). My advisor said that he will get back to me tomorrow. We'll see what happens.
