After you bugger the first one with the screwdriver and you figured out the trick....the rest are easy! Good luck!

just start with screwdriver, then switch to dikes (carefully) or long needlenose so you can get ahold of the whole thing. otherwise you're right ... it's like prying open a paint can ... lift one side and the other goes down.

I have a screw driver type tool I got a while back at a hardware store that at the end forks out and is perfect for removing the plastic pins. I imagine anyone would still have this item. No pic right now but it exist.

OR, you could take an old wide blade flat screwdriver and grind a "v" shaped opening in the flat end with your bench grinder and suddenly you have the correct tool for removal.

Thanks, the nice part about the pliers is as you squeeze them they automatically pop out the pin since they are beveled: thumbs:

Yes, there is a special removal tool. Can't find a pic of one right now though.
I've always used the can opener on my swiss army knife. The point gets under the pin, and the little hook in it does a good job of spreading the load out around the push pin's base
Found the pic. This is just one example:

Yep, trim tool. Looks like a screwdriver with a forked end. Any auto tool shop should stock them.

This is great! I don't need to remove the wheel wells but I've had a tool similar to that 'large forked chingadera' for years. I used it once years ago to pry something or other....now I think I know what it was truly designed for.
