Baer Brakes in Phoenix, AZ makes a great replacement. I'm considering this swap due to the rust on my 05 Z51 rotors. Why would you need a new set on a new C6? Do the new ones rust as well?
I bought a set of lightly used rotors from another forum member. I'm hoping something good will be available when these are toast. Otherwise I'll probably use the smaller NAPA rotors, and keep a set of OEM rotors for looking pretty.
We have both the Z51 and GM Performance rotors at excellent wholesale prices. Give us a call at 800-234-5284 or email me at bwendorff@fichtnerchevrolet.com

We also off ALL GM PARTS at wholesale!
Bob, do the new Z51 rotors have a rust problem like the 05's? I'm happy with the rotors except the rust! I would consider buying stock new ones from you if you can guarantee me they won't rust like the 05's!

I sure can't guarantee the parts, but they started zinc coating the rotors to prevent the rest. My almost-1 year old Z51 doesn't have any rust on the rotors. And yes, I've driven it in the rain.

Thanks for the reply. I started a post several weeks ago asking this question and was pretty much ignored. There are lots of after market rotors out there that would fit the bill, but, I would like to keep my Vette as stock as possible and the GM rotors are very reasonably priced. I just don't want to fork over the $$ and have the same thing as I already have...RUST. The rotors themselves work great for my driving habits. A rust free rotor will really be nice!
I have an '07 with the silver colored/zinc (I think - sure looks like it) coated rotors and I use my car as a daily driver in the Pacific NW - LOTS of rain, slush, snow, and ice. I don't have a spec of rust on the rotor center, edge, or vanes, and no rust drippings on the inside of the wheel.
Of course the pad surface rusts like crazy if you look at it sideways w/ a glass of water in your hand, but that's another story. I'm very happy because I was prepared to have to deal with the rust myself and have been pleasantly surprised!
FYI - '07 3LT Coupe w/ F55 (which now comes w/ the Z51 rotors)
