Gents, I've got a 06 convertible with Z51. Hit a curb when a truck decided to change lanes on me. Knocked the alignment out 3 degrees and tore up both front tires within the 1000 miles I drove it before getting it back to the dealership. That was at about 5000 miles. Got a new set of tires put on and alignment - everything great. Except that the dealership also said I had flat spotted the front left bearing, but that it would be ok until the next time I brought it in for an oil change.
Haven't had the car washed in about a week and noticed yesterday what looked like tar all over both sides of the car. Upon closer inspection, it looks like rubber. So took a look at the front tires and they are damn near bald already - in less than 2500 miles!
Anyone else had issues with these cars "loosing" alignment like this? Houston has it's share of pot holes, but I haven't hit anything that should have knocked the alignment out this quickly.
