I will try to take some pics this weekend. I now the model number on the box was right. maybe they did put some touring in the wrong box. There not as much rumble as my c5 had. There is also a lot of rattle. I need to get under there and see whats rattleing. It sounds like a cover sheild rattling. It does it at idle and you can hear it driving at low speeds. I had a buddy tell me when I got on it they bouced all over the place. The do move around alot by hand.
If the mufflers are 5 inches in diameter, you got the Stingers. If not, somebody messed up.

A common installation problem is getting the alignment pins in the "right" hole". If you look at the rubber hanger/insulator there are two openings on either side of the center hole. Often the exhaust alignment pins get inserted by mistake into them. It's easy to do and easy to fix. I'd check that first.
when i installed my borlas...the second time...I did so by unbolting the metal bracket that hold the rubber isolaters...with them unbolted, there is no need to disconnect the up at the front. the right side over axle pipe took a little flat bar persuasion to "pop" it into the factory pipe but not all that much..was easier than doing the un-bolt up front. make sure the metal brackets are tight...as this could cause the vibration noise you hear. I had the noise and a loose bracket was the culprit.

You mean you didn't unbolt the H-pipe from the cats in the front? I thought you always had to disconnect and drop the H-pipe?
Thanks,
Gene
Hi gene, when i decided to get rid of the touring borla...I thought i would give it a try without unbolting the h pipe up front. when i removed the four metal hangers in the rear...i literally pulled down and then back and the whole thing was free at the connection at the front of the over axle pipes. so when i got the stingers..i thought i`d reinstall the same way....like i said..it went in with a little persuasion where the right side over axle pipe connected to the factory...one of those if the pipe was just 1/8" shorter things...anyway...i used a flat bar to pry the factory pipe to the side a little and in she popped right in.

Thanks, its good to know! I will be trading out my Bullets. Those bolts on the h-pipe are soft. I would hate to strip them.
