This quote is directly from the latest NCM news email: "The 2008 will have the most enhancements to the C6 generation since its introduction in 2004."

What does that mean? I have no freakin idea, but it sounds interesting.

The Saturday of the Bash at the Museum. All will be made clear.
Mark your Calendars - April 28th. Better yet - go to BG and hang at the NCM with the Design Team.

Yeah there really is nothing wrong in starting entire new threads and using up more bandwidth/site space on topics that have already been covered in depth and detail in the other 9 threads on the topic ...a simple search would've uncovered them and answered any and all questions on the 2008 (or at least what is known/speculative at this point) even better than they've been answered here thus far.

There haven't been a lot of enhancements to the C6 since its introduction other than fixes such as DBS and flying roof.

With 6,400+ posts you have little room to talk about bandwidth. You now have 3 in mine and 3 or 4 in the last 08 thread. I was lazy and irresponsible for not searching and I apologize. I will just search your posts next time I need information. Seems you post in every thread started.

No need to apologize... Unfortunately some here seem to enjoy stomping on folks who post threads that they feel are old news.

I don't understand why they even bother posting a reply to a thread they think is a repeat or contains information they already know. Maybe in the future they should consider ignoring the thread and keeping their "dead horse" comments to themselves and let those who wish to constructively participate in the thread do so.

I agree totally. If you do not find the post interesting, just skip it. I do not understand the urge to do the dead horse thing either. Just ignore the post and move on.

The only reason that members post opposition to the thread, either in the form of the dead horse or otherwise is because it is considered proper "netiquette" to always do a search prior to starting a new thread.

I understand that and I personally try to follow proper netiquette. If the owner or moderator wants to enforce netiquette here then let them handle it. I just don't like seeing other members acting like netiquette police and stomping on other members in public. I don't know if they are just trying to "up" their total posts or just trying to make someone else feel stupid. However, that's just my humble opinion.
