I may be terminating my lease on my 06 vette, due to a few reasons.
I dont need the expense,I work alot and have no time to enjoy, insurance is high, and payment is high.
I really got this car on impulse which I am sure a lot of folks here have done.
Belive me I love this car ,but I need to down size, tomorrow I will call the bank to find out the damages
Has anyone else done this/ or is thinking of it?
No way am I taking mine back, waited way to long to get it LOL. I have however, seen a few folks decide the Z is a little more car than they need because of the same reasons you have listed. If I was guessing, you may regret that decision a ways down the road unless you have just completely lost interest in the car. Good luck on what ever decision you make.

I know I will regret letting it go, and yes it is more car than what I need money wise. I can afford the car no problem, just that I have other priorities.
Be prepared to pay some major bucks to get out of the lease, unless you put big money down on the lease. Leases aren't really designed for early termination. Good luck.

You know you'll regret getting rid of it, and the payment is no problem?

KEEP IT BROTHA!
If you get rid of it and then decide that you made a mistake (which I believe is quite possible), you'll take a second hit when you replace it. I say keep it.
I love cars...but cars come & go. No point in hanging on to something that makes you feel uncomfortable budget-wise. I waited a long time to buy a Corvette so I wouldn't be car-poor when owning it. I know I wouldn't enjoy mine nearly as much if the payment was stressing me out.

Hate to say this but you're going to get killed on this. Depreciation in the first year is huge. See what the bank says and than see if selling it privately makes more sense.
