What happened to the wave, in my C-5 the wave lived. Now I am driving a C-6 and the wave has been losed. What gives.

Alive and well for most of us. Here's one from Massachusettes

With each new year many folks get in to what could very well be their first Corvette. Many don't know about the wave. Those of us that have come up through the generations are a little more used to it. Not everyone is accustomed to the looks of the C6 yet and may not be sure it is a Corvette either. Just keep wavin', we need to get the new folks up to speed.

I think its the exposed headlights. They make it harder to identify an oncoming Vette.

Thats funny that we hae a wave too. I have a motorcycle, and we had a lil wave thing goin there. What kind of wave do we do, I mean on my bike it was just a low wave below the bars, I ant imagine hain to wave from a car.

Keep waving...it's still alive!

It is tougher in areas with lots of heavily tinted windows.

I cam from the bike crowd to and think it is funny. Most every car i've ever driven there has been a wave but I think motorcylists are the least picky at who they will wave at. they wave at anyone on a bike

as for the Corvette wate here's one from CO

I've only had my first corvette for 3 weeks now. So far had 1 wave and 1 random guy on the sidewalk yell "Nice vette! I got an orange C6 at home!". No one ever waved or said "nice car" to me in my other car and I've owned it for 6 years now. Plus, it only took 2 days of owning the vette for it assist me in getting a girl's number. I love this car! haha

Except the way I remember it if I was on my Kawasaki and they were on a Harley I usually got a different wave or none at all.
